Names its source farm, which is unusual. Greenfields runs the Greenfields Protocol, the most auditable grass-fed scheme in the country — but the balm itself carries no certification, so it sits at own claim. Checked 18 September 2026: the Greenfields Protocol is a private standard the Greenfields farm in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands wrote for itself. It names no auditing body, publishes no list of participating farms and has no working site, so there is nothing public for anyone to check this against. Ask who audits it, and when they last did.
