N3YH — “Certified bamboo fibers from controlled cultivation” — certifier not named
Bamboo viscose is a chemically processed fibre. Worth knowing before treating it as a natural-fibre claim. Checked 18 September 2026: the GOTS public database lists one South African licensee — Old Nick Fabrics t/a Mungo — and this is not it. That is not necessarily wrong: GOTS certifies up to the last business-to-business stage, so a brand can buy certified fabric without holding a licence. It does mean the licence is the mill's, not theirs. Ask which mill.
