In their own words
Abalimi Bezekhaya — Pesticide-free, uncertified
SA's flagship township organic box scheme no longer runs the boxes. Buy direct instead — and check before you plan around it. Checked 18 September 2026: IFOAM's worldwide PGS map lists Ikamva Lafama PGS in Khayelitsha as Operational, registered to a contact address on this organisation's own domain — but the map prints the scheme's name, not the organisation's, so we record it as a strong lead rather than a confirmation. Ask whether the PGS covers the boxes you buy.
Recorded 18 September 2026 from the operator's own site and the registers named above. Veldlist never awards a badge; it records who says what. Wrong? Tell us.
