In their own words
Freerangers — “Harvested humanely at a registered abattoir close to the farm… vegetables chemical pesticide free”
Names its farms, which is the point. Checked 18 September 2026: South Africa publishes no searchable register of abattoirs. Registration under the Meat Safety Act 40 of 2000 is administered province by province and those lists are not online, so this claim cannot be confirmed or refuted from public sources — by us or by anyone else. Ask which abattoir, and for its registration number.
Recorded 18 September 2026 from the operator's own site and the registers named above. Veldlist never awards a badge; it records who says what. Wrong? Tell us.
