In their own words
Milkwood Mushrooms — “A handful of small local farmers … drop off freshly picked organic product every morning”
Running since 2001, out of the collapse of the old Chelsea mushroom farm. The word organic is theirs for what their growers bring in, not a certification — and only a few lines on the order list are actually marked organic (a lettuce pack, baby carrots, mangetout). There is no shopfront and no published street address: you order by email against a weekly list. They also circulate a meat list that is not published online, so if pork matters to you, ask before ordering.
Recorded 19 September 2026 from the operator's own site and the registers named above. Veldlist never awards a badge; it records who says what. Wrong? Tell us.
