The largest tea estate in South Africa and, as far as we can tell, the only substantial food brand with a working online shop anywhere in the former Transkei. No organic, Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade certification is claimed. The rooibos is sold under the Magwa label but rooibos does not grow in Pondoland — that line is bought in. The estate has been through repeated state rescue; the shop was live with stock and prices when checked on 19 September 2026.
